Who we are

Lauren and I have adopted all of our previous dogs and have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds. We recently lost our adopted 12-year-old Great "DoberDane" and 16-year-old Mini Bull Terrier, due to natural causes. We are taking some time to mourn their loss, but have decided to begin accepting new clients again. We believe surrounding ourselves with new dogs will help further aid in this transitional period. Lauren and I have a single-family home with a fully fenced yard. For senior dogs, there is only one step to access the house from the back, and two from the front.

Lauren and I both have professional careers and work from home. We have a dedicated home office that overlooks the backyard. This allows us the ability to always monitor your dogs, regardless if they are indoors or out. We have a large pet door so your dogs can go outside at their leisure. Our yard is fully fenced and secure. We put a temporary AirTag on the collar of each dog we watch for extra security while they stay with us. Located near downtown Littleton, with multiple parks nearby. We like to create a fun, happy, and low-stress atmosphere for all dogs. Walks, dog park visits, and daily stimuli are high priorities.

Lauren and I specialize in senior dogs and/or special needs dogs.  We have extensive experience with mobility issues, regular/timely medicine administration, diabetes management (injections/glucose testing), heart-related issues (over excitement), dog aggression issues, etc. Our Great Dane had diabetes and our Mini-Bull had a chronic heart condition. Thus, we are very accustomed to and comfortable administering injections, medications, and special diets.

We're not looking to board as many dogs as possible to maximize revenue. Instead, we focus on quality and specialized individual care for each client We had a very difficult time finding an acceptable, healthy, and low stress boarding environment for our dogs, especially as they entered their senior years. This experience inspired us to address this issue personally utilizing our extensive experience and skill set. Rather then focus on volume, we prefer to have a small group of repeat clients. That allows us to ensure the best possible experience, and really build a relationship with the dog/owner. We are interested in long-term relationships and ensuring every dog that stays with us leaves as a Happy Hound!
